Ok, here the summary of my story.

When I realized that I was losing hair I got on finasteride immediately. For the first weeks I saw more shedding than ever before. i could tell after a few weeks that my hair had become worse, especially at the crown. After this first shed I experienced less and less shedding of hair and my crown filled in again. About 2 weeks ago my crown looked as it did with the beginning of my treatment, maybe even better. But since about 2 weeks another shed set in and I was losing hair again. Now, after only 2 weeks my crown looks very bad again, a visible deterioation withín this short time. What can I do about this? i am desperate! Thank you in advance.

The image you percieve of yourself is deceiving you. Your sentimental being interferes with your perception.

There´s no way a visible process of growth/regrowth can take course in 2 week steps. It goes against any scientific measurement edited on the hair subject and objetive experience of forum posters.

Many people have claimed here that his hairline has dissapeared in a week since they started finasteride, or that they notice their hair thicker after two seconds on minoxidil. Not a single pic.

I do notice my crown very bad one day. It seems almost gone and expanding. The next day I see my hair like a helmet of thick black kickin´*** hair.

If I take pics of those days, and check them in my computer I can easily see that there´s no difference. No f*****g difference. I know it because I´ve done it. Try and experiment, mate. Base your opinions in the most objetive possible tests and proofs, like a simultaneous comparison of 2 b&a pics.

Until then, stay cool. And watch that attitude, mate. Don´t be depressed, wear a smile. It could seem stupid, but after all, it´s better to smile than to be unhappy. Maybe you´ll start to see things the other way!!!

Solo is right.

And besides that, you've only been on finasteride for 3 months. Its called a shed cycle Taughs. I know you probably know this and don't want to hear this since it feels AWFUL to just sit there and shed, but there is nothing you can do about it but ride it out.
