It completely depends on the person. No one would be attracted to a shaved head just bc it's shaved. It's about whether or not the person pulls it off. The women in this survey voted according to their own individual perception and imagination - some imagined Statham and The Rock while others imagined Constanza types.

This is ridiculously pointless, granted attraction obviously plays a role in relationships but realistically it’s the connection between two people that dictates a relationship. My dad was a short hairy cue ball at the age of 20 and he bagged my mum who 20 times better looking.

Efforts do to what?

Taking efforts to do research on all three bald men hair types.
If you were earlier, around 2010 on internet, most of the comments at that time was to shave on balding head to overcome baldness.

Social Media is to blame for that. Read some of the research done by Jonathan Haidt. Shaving it and overcoming it might not be your preferred approach (let's be honest, we're all here because we want to keep our hair and because it bothers us), but we have to agree that it is by far the best solution - if you can deal with it.

I think it used to be a lot easier in the past but if you're constantly surrounded by unobtainable beauty standards and immersed in social media, it can totally change your outlook and how you handle the problem. Especially generation Z is facing a lot of problems here. It sounds easy to "blame Instagram" but it really appears to be the huge problem. I think acknowledging this to yourself can help you deal with it better because you realize the problem isn't so much in yourself but with the environment you're in.

*hic* guys that shave their head disgust me. theres this teacher at school that shaves his entire f*****g face every day, and he looks so f*****g ugly. it would be pathetic to be a skinhead like him and shave every remaining hair off your face, so you could go around and make everybody think you have cancer.

or the bald/shaved men they have met in their lives. It based on averages. Both real life interactions and the media will shape their opinions.

Some are clearly better off letting the horseshoe grow out a bit because it provides some framing. Guy at work has a long head and the Kojak look does him no favours imo. A bit of side hair would break up the fleshy obelisk.

If you are past a NW5 the thin horse shoe is never ever an improvement. He may look bad now, but a thin strip of hair would not make him look any better.
You either suit the bald look or you don't, tough luck.

what does this have to do with the topic?

why are you even here then bro?

alopecia is not a medical condition - hair is not needed for survival. the only reason people want to keep their hair is for cosmetic/looks related reasons

so i dont really get your point lol

I say it is a pointless research because it ALWAYS depends on the inidividual. You cannot make generalizations such as this. Would be the same if there would be a research that had the conclusion: 'Men look better in blue'.

Men with blue eyed tend to look better in blue so if most men in your research have blue eyes then this will impact the findings of your study. Some men might look better in red, grey or whatever. Bottom line: it all depends on the opinion.

Also I have been here in 2010 as well and there defintely were not more people then saying to just shave it.

I understand but such researches bring attention to our problems.
In future, someone might jump into this and carry out research in more scientific manner.
