Shave reducing moisturizer = bad? (topicals expert needed)

hey all, i'm using Aveeno's shave reducing moisturizer on my beard-line, it thins your hair basically, and i was wondering if its possible by having it soak into the skin on the lower part of my face could it impact my hairline above?
