Shaved versus Toppik (Pictures)

I normally buzz my hair to a grade 1, but I went on a two week holiday recently and I didn't take my clippers. As my hair grew out longer than it'd been in months I figured I'd have an experiment when I got back. First I'd give Toppik a go (I noticed a £5 trial offer with free P&P) and then I'd buzz my head to a grade 0 (practically a shaved head). Here were the results:

What do you think? Does the Toppik make a real difference? Is it much better than a shaved head?

Initial reaction Toppik, had breakfast looked again, still Toppik but really liking the shaved look too.

hey man, you're really lucky that you can pull both off. I like the toppik look as well, though. Frames your face well. But just know that you can pull of the shaved look comfortably.

I think the Toppik picture is the best, followed by the guard 1 cut. The shaved look isn't ideal, but you certainly pull it off.

Topic looks slightly better. You still look good with zero.

I would stick to zero guard. Topic will just make your life harder in the long run.

Nothing wrong with 'Holiday Hair' either! It and Toppik are better than the 0 for me. I prefer to see something there whatever the stage of hair loss.

I've decided I'll stick with the buzzcut, but there's no denying Toppik works. I just don't think I can be bothered to apply it everyday and then buy more when it runs out.

Are you surprised that most people prefer you with topik as opposed to the shaved head- even though you still look good with a shaved head? I'm so fu ck ed.
