Shaving head can help to cure scalp itching?

Hello guys, since about two months I have a big problem with itchy scalp, I started to using shampoo without sls and other heavy ingredients and also added stieprox to my regime, but it didnt help me yet, so I am considering does making a buzz cut(like 1-3mm) can help to curing scalp itch(like it would help stieprox or nizoral to absorb?) I have to mention, that I don't see any dandruff, just I feel that itching scalp.
