ok so I'm excepting my hairloss, but am starting to see regrowth with the help of finasteride. I have dreadlocks but don't think I'm going to be able to save them. I was just thinking of shaving my head but fear losing my regrowth. Is this a valid fear?

Shaving your head isn't going to prevent regrowth...except obviously the regrown hair will be shaved and not visible.

shaving your head, putting gel in your hair, towel drying your hair, wearing a hat, showering often... none of these things cause or increase hair loss...

you have only your crappy genetics to thank for that!

What about blow drying? I know heat can damage hair, but I wouldn't have throught it could prevent hair from growing? Just make it dry and more brittle?

Only if you go overboard and do it excessively, then it van become detrimental to your hair.

yeah that dude from korn really let himself go.

very weird seeing him pudgy

whats so weird about a famous wealthy celebrity get fat? seems like all musicians get fat once they make it

I was talking about him specifically, not celebrities in general.

Back in the day there was always talk about how many calories he burns on stage with how energetic he is and what great cardio he has. I used to follow Korn very closely and in the early 00's if you asked every Korn fan and music writer to predict 100 things about Davis not 1 of them would have been that he would ever be out of shape. Remember how he used to always be draped in ADIDAS?

I think it's a natural aging process.... Amongst my friends only the ones that regularly do sports haven't put on weight, all the others are on the overweight side.

I think it's even harder for the celebrities. Their managers get almost everything done for them, so they don't do the everyday little things that burn energy. On top of that they are probably guests in millions of parties and they consume lots of alcohol.

It's not easy being a celebrity

I've seen most of my favourite bands, but Korn is the one I missed. I had a few chances but things didn't work out for me. I should make an effort the next time they are on tour.
