I know some ppl experience success with rogaine/finasteride without any shedding.

However, if you do shed, does that mean in fact that the treatment is working?

Ppl don't shed and then find that the treatment doesn't promote regrowth, do they?

I'd hate to shed and then realize the hair that lost was accelerated by me which would suck.

I started the foam on my buzzed head...god it's so easy that I figured why not. But truth be told, i love my buzzed head. Some more stubble to darken the top of my head would be sweet. But if I do thicken my hair, even to the point of growing it out so i can style it, I wouldn't.

That is the question that everyone wants to know.. I never really had a shed before starting minoxidil(possibly because I keep my hair fairly short and wouldn't notice) but now that I'm 1 month in I'm noticing small patches near my temples and overall looking thinner on the top.. chances are that you will have a shed.. whether it works or not.. wish I could tell you for sure.
