shedding again after 3 months......

yeah idk what to do tbh. had great progress and its all shedding away on my fourth month. the hairs are all the new minoxidil ones and theyre all pretty much almost gone. also loosing these very transparent like hairs and stuff.

i am on finasteride. is this a shed cycle or some horseshit? i really didnt think i would lose progress after like 3 months lol.

How long have you been on finasteride?
I was on the same boat as you, after a year on finasteride it started looking worse than baseline and shedding was almost as bad as without it, so I switched to duta and 2 months in it's getting better (shedding completely stopped in the first week)

You'll have to explore dutasteride and/or RU/CB

I’ve been on finasteride for almost a year with maintenance. I’m about a NW2.5 on one side, thinning near the hairline.

All the hairs that are shedding are new minxodil hairs.

Anyone??? Seriously desperate here. Lost upwards of 50 minxodil hairs today. Dropped from a Norwood 1.5 to Norwood 2.5 in the course of two weeks. Ducking awful.
