Shedding more on my sides than the top of my head

I thought just the other day my sides seem to be getting thinner and I just
brushed it off to paranoia. Is that a side effect of finasteride?

yea i also have been shedding alot sides and back... however, my front and top is much thicker now after initial shedding...

I'm not sure, but I'd guess it is a bad sign. I think it's usually NW6-7 guys who get heavy side hair loss. I have it, too, and I'm definitely heading for NW6-7.

I just wanted to add that I didn't mean that it was a bad sign with regards to how your treatment is working. It's only bad because it could be a sign that you will end up with a high norwood eventually. Let's hope I'm wrong, though.

Oh yeah I knew there was no harm meant because you were basing it off your own experience. The good thing is, with some of these treatments if they work correctly they can keep that from happening for a few years.
