So in all my research of different sites, I've only read about this once:
I've been doing the normal shedding on dutasteride, having just finished my 100th pill and all, but in the last three days, I've noticed a number of really short hairs that have been shedding. I suspect that these are new hairs that have come up after old ones were forced out -- they're kind of dark and thick, too.
I'm worried that this is evidence that people who seem to shed and never recover have the same pattern -- it's not that you keep shedding old hairs, it's that you never make progress, because you shed a set of old hairs, but then you're shedding their replacements as well. yeah, you *have* replacements coming in, but they never get to grow long enough to make a cosmetic difference. and if you shed longer ones on top of that, you suffer a lot of loss.
whether or not this foreshadows anything to come is up in the air. whatever. still, i'm curious if anyone noticed that they were shedding some darky, really short hairs that appeared new. they also curl a bit. but whatever. really small ones.
