Im sorry if this has been visited already, I seem to be getting different opinions on this topic.
Little bit of background:
started generic minoxidil (not sure if its 2 or 5%... its the normal stuff not extra strength) and Nizoral 2% bout 6 months ago, thought everything was going great, till recently I started losing alot, and I mean ALOT of hairs in the shower, and in the morning when i combed my hair (even tho my hair is short i do it for added blood flow to the scalp, as well as massaging the minoxidil in)
in the shower, maybe upward to ~75 hairs fall out
in the morning, after a frontward comb, I can get about 30 ish hairs in the sink (bout 1 cm in length, no white bulb)
Am i losing the battle? its been shedding like this for like 1.5 months now. i often cut my hair short (down to a 1) and let it grow back about once a month.
Do i jump on extra strength minoxidil?
