Shedding

I´ve been on minoxidil for 4,5 months and on proscar for 3,5 months but only recently started noticing increased hairloss, I was quite shocked to find so much hair in the sink. I know this is normal but isn´t it a bit late for me to start shedding, I thought people on the big three started shedding much earlier. Anyone care to enlighten me on the subject?
