shedding

a lot of people worry about shedding a lot. i have been a lot since i started proscar but i'm not worried yet. but for those on proscar or minoxidil or both, ..how long did your shedding last and when did it stop? wonk

I am not trying to jinx myself but I think my shedding has stopped for the past few days. It stopped after I started using some tar shampoo. So maybe having a healthy scalp works. Either that or I have hopefully got past the shedding part.

I have now taken a wait and see attitude cos my shedding had lasted for 6 months and it seems a bit unreal that it has stopped.

I had no sheds on Propecia at all.

When I started Minoxidil I had a massive shed after about 1 month and it lasted 3 weeks or so. I was followed by another one 3 months later that was very short. Just 4 or 5 days. Plus I am going through one now, but it's nothing nothing compared to the first one.

Since you started your treatment kinda backwards, you have probably already been through the worst of it I would guess.

Who knows? These things are very unpredictable.
