yeah but since the percentage in size in hunans is verx tiny percentage wise and an equal reduction of finasteride varely has any effrct in dht levels i think it does not matter at all.

This isn't accurate at all! I guess 90% of men are in the 65 to 90 kg weight group. That's a variation of 38%! I bet that part of the reason behind the highly successful results of the long term Japanese study was because their mass is quite small.
I had a quick look through a few finasteride studies and none of the ones I checked reported the weight of the patients.

Bigger men need more calories/vitamins/minerals to operate compared to smaller men. Shouldn't the same be true for finasteride?
Even if that was the case, its already taken in a variety of different doses anyway.

The ideal finasteride dose, is the lowest you can get away with that still works....

so the 'standard 1mg dose' if you like, already means very little, as its often prescribed in far lower doses than that, and on the flip side, people taking it in higher doses than 1mg a day are also not uncommon.

40% more or less finasteride makes no difference thats the point.
Yes off course you are right in relation to whether the dose should be increased due to body mass.

But its a waste of time quoting figures with absolute certainly like, '40% more or less finasteride makes no difference'

Like we all already know, in 'theory' the dose makes little difference.

And we can all have a smile reading the OP, and what he's suggesting.

but in practice many people do settle on a customized dose, so often a subtle reduction or increase in dose can alter a person's stability long term.

Before you keep making these rigid claims in all your posts, you would be better off, reading some actual real world experiences of people who have been taking or prescribing the drug for 10-25 years.

Rather than hanging onto every word of these studies or by referencing your own short amount of time on finasteride as gospel.
