Should I Add Minoxidil To My Regimen?

Hey guys,

New to the forums and hair loss treatments. I just got prescribed generic finasteride today, been thinning for the last year or so and finally decided to do something about it. I think i caught my hair loss fairly early and would probably be somewhere between a Norwood 1.5-2.

Since my hair loss isn't advanced yet, would adding minoxidil to my regimen be more effective than just finasteride on its own in thickening up my hair? Would i be able to grow back some lost temple hair?

If you don't care to know how finasteride works on its own, then add minoxidil. Most hair loss experts recommend to start with finasteride for 6 months and if not improving add minoxidil.
