should i cut my hair short to see if i have true hair loss?

i have LONG hair and have been growing it for 2 years now because i noticed my hair was not as thick... do you think i should cut it short to see i have true hair loss since the long hair can't cover it up?

NO I told you what to do. Go to a reputable hair restoration surgeon.
Ask them if they can perform an accurate hair miniaturization test for you.
This will accurately measure your level of hair loss.
If the doctor sees miniaturization throughout the scalp, discuss the pros and cons using Propecia and Rogaine.
Don't expect people on hair loss forums to give you a real diagnoses of your hair from a photo it's virtually impossible.
Any normal person who saw your pics would say you do not have any hair loss.
