Should i drop minoxidil and just stay on proscar?

Ive been on the big 3, to me there the little 3 for about 10 mths.
My hair has gone from being very bearable to losing hair like a yellow lab.
When i started i didnt really expect to grow back any of the hair i had loss and just wanted to maintain what i had, if i could do that id be happy.
But its just been downhill especially the last few months.
If i want to just keep my hair wouldnt proscar be able to do that, do i need minoxidil for anything? because it seems where i apply minoxidil it flaks up and i lose hair in the flakes. Since ive seen ZERO regrowth is there any reason to stay on minoxidil?

Yes stay on it and do a combo. You will shed as mad if you get off minoxidil.
I went off it, after 6 months cause a had a usual minoxidil shed...got frightend and quit...after that the shed was 10 x worse.

Don't can't drop minoxidil.. you have to phase it out. So the shed will be spread over a longer period of time, and therefore the first hairs that shed will grow back, and overall less impact.
