Just turned 25. I have been having hairloss for about 3 years now. I have been on finasteride and minoxidil for almost 2 years too. These pics were taken in bright light and i applied oil for the reality check too. Should i wait or get a transplant since i do want to have a fuller head of hair in my 20s? What do u guys suggest? In serious debate for over a month now. What could go wrong if i get transplant now? My expectations is to just fill my temples but worry about further recessions

I have maintained my hair. Havent lost more tbh. It’s got a bit thick but stayed the same overall
If your maintaining and planning on staying on finasteride, get the transplant. The concern is that the transplants hairs are permanent and immune to dht, so if you continue losing hair after the transplant you can end up with two hairlines. But if it’s stabilized go for it

If you're maintaining so far, my advice would wait until almost the age of 30. You won't know if your hair loss will be any worse in the coming years even with meds. But, if you still persist in an hair transplant, you can go for it provide the hair transplant doctors agree so.
