I just found out my highschool reunion is next week. I feel anxiety thinking about it as I'm a bit embarrassed about where I am in some areas of my life. To put things in context it's a 10 year reunion(everyone will be 28-29 age range)

Pros:

-I have basically the appearance of a full head of hair at NW1.5 - 2 thanks to my finasteride/minoxidil recovery

-I'm the most jacked I've ever been

-I still look very young, am often mistaken for being a decade younger than my age

Cons

-I don't have a career, am in school in a program I am borderline passing

-I'm hopelessly single

-I live with my parents

-I'm still a manlet (5'6.5")

-my bodyfat is a little higher than I'd prefer atm. I'm probably like 13% ish because I've been slightly overeating to put on muscle. I thought my reunion was going to be later and I'd hear about it with ample time to cut down to <10% for elite tier alpha cheek bone definition

I think the most embarrassing thing for me is the lack or career, and the feeling that I might fail out of this program at any time. I don't want to be that aimless good for nothing dude, they're just like "yeah, things didn't work out for him"

Yes, I am often treated as a spectacle because most people apparently aren't used to seeing anyone with significant muscle mass in real life

I am too autistic for such things, I didn't even go to all my proms. Happy as f***, cause all my classmate's photos look ridiculous. I'd be ashamed to be a part of that...

Btw, OP, our cons are almost similiar.

I used to like schoolmate reunion gatherings, but I began to feel that other than it being an event for genuine catch up, there are still those few idiots who haven't changed much and continue to be braggers about how good they are leading their lives. I'm same age as you, probably similar balding level. Maybe ask yourself if the feeling of going is stemming from the fear of missing out or to see that few good friends that you really want to meet.

-Lie about your career, just say you are working in the field of what you are studying. It’s technically not even a lie.

-Hire a prostitute to be your date. They’re also paying for their dates in one way or another. If you can’t afford a prostitute or think it’s sketchy just have a picture of a babe on your phone and tell them that’s your gf, but she’s in Milan for a modeling gig and couldn’t make it.

-Lie about your living arrangement.

-You could wear lifts, but I’m guessing you’re wearing Oxford shoes or something with a slight heel anyways.

You’re probably in a better place than alot of your peers. Might be a confidence boost to see how they’ve turned out, and remember that they are probably lying too.

It's only ten years since high school, son. You still have plenty of time to make something of yourself financially.

I'd go to this reunion if I was you.
All the females will be commenting on how young you look.
And the dudes will be envious.

We rarely agree but this is all brilliant.

Also don't ever knock living with the parentals, I am moving in with my dad next month and I make $85K a year and work at home (that's why I can move so easily), LA life + my credit card debts are too expensive so I am going to live with him for a year to pay it (and hopefully my student loans) off. It doesn't matter when you launch so long as you do.
