Finasteride to keep what you have, hard to say anything about your shedding without before and after pictures but could be that minoxidil simply dont work for you and you just lose your hair?

minoxidil caused my hair thin as well, but before and after pictures would be great.

I think your Minoxidil simply dont work for you, i dont think you have lost more du to the use of minoxidil, just lost your hair during the time.

Finesteride is my suggestion

if it didn't help you grow hair, you didn't shed due to the medication =you should keep what you have.

your before picture is from September, do you have any from February when you started on minoxidil ?

if the shedding is due to minoxidil, you will get regrowth but it takes time. remember that shredded hairs enters a resting phase 2 to 3 months and then regrowth will come.

Most studies indicate that the results from minoxidil usually start to show after six months, with few or no visible results in the first three months of use. There are also studies that don’t show any results after three months, indicating that minoxidil can take some time to start working.

In one clinical study, 26% of men reported moderate to dense hair regrowth after using a 2% minoxidil topical treatment for 4 months. This shows that minoxidil does work if you’re patient and willing to use it consistently
