Hi,

I'm currently really depressed as my hair is getting thinner. I'm 28 and have always had really really thick hair. Every hairstylist was amazed at how much hair I had on my head. About a year ago, I started noticing some hair on my hands in the shower and when i would use gel. Now i'm seeing them on my pillow. I'm getting depressed. My hair does not feel as thick as it was and i'm wondering if propecia would help. Right now, I still have enough hair to not appear bald or balding. Any advice?

THanks
Brian

get on it now the sooner the better at your age, im 32 and i wish i started four years ago im sure it would of minimized the damage then again its not that bad and i am goodlooking ,id start off with smaller doses so you dont get immune ,as i am doing, thats just my opinion..if your depressed about it dont be life is to short we are all going to die anyway , die like a man , ifyou feel dead already thats even better , have fun with it !!!!take your depression out on scumbags that will make you feel better , play god ...and go get urself some pusi and if you think you cant go buy some there is plenty out there , hell someone might even like just you be yourself..i use to feel the same way trust me it aint worth it , money is more important then anything in this world nowadays we are all in living hell in my opinion..who cares!

Ummmm, i have a slight different view to this than joe32's.

btmcgovern,

there's plenty we can do to fight hair loss. no point in crying about it. first, get on finasteride (no if's or but's-unless u get untolerable side effects from it). then look into pro-n (http://www.drproctor.com), spironolactone cream (minoxidil.com), NOT minoxidil, scalp exercises below (they're VERY good in the long run to fight hair loss). also, there's hair multiplication coming out in the next 10 years, which is supposed to be the cure for balding, so cheer up and good luck!

hey warrior,

can you link to any studies that prove scalp exercises are beneficial in the long run for hair loss?
