I started using propecia 8 days ago and I am exhausted. I have no energy and have never felt so drained and tired in my life.Why is that ? On top of that , I have read some posts that say it is possible for propecia to hurt my chances of having children.Is that possibly true and is there any way of getting rid of this terible side effect I am havuing so quickly ?

8 days? Ride it out. Take your finasteride before you go to bed, see if that doesnt clear up the tiredness and fatigue. But even if it doesn't clear it up right away, give it a few more weeks if you can stand it. It's a personal choice, so use your own judgment, but I doubt this side effect will last much longer. Your body is still adjusting to it after 8 days, give it a chance.
And no, the weight of the scientific evidence doesnt indicate AT ALL that finasteride will hurt your chances of having kids later. It shouldnt even affect your chances while youre on it, either.

i had exactly the same.. just after a few days i felt very bad like you..
i took longer and i got very strong depression.. it was horrible!!
i tried it at least 5 times to quit it and take it again.. quit it and take it again.... alsways the same!
the last time i just took 0, 2 mg finasteride once and i got a depression for 6 weeks!
you i had the side effects because of the low dht level and because of finasteride..
finasteride is in your body just a few days but to get a a normal dht level again it takes a few weeks.. thats the reason!!
i stoped finasteride now and i never take it again.. i have no depression.. not a bit.. i feel very lucky like before i took finasteride!
