thinking about buying finpecia from inhouse pharmacy...my main concern is the legitimacy of the product , and secondly...what about long time use, im 22 now if i take finpecia for the next 40 years is it going to lose its effect over time, is the dht going to find some way to override the finpecia and still cause baldness? i guess im scared to start something and have it all be a waste after i hit 10 years of use....does it keep working?

^^ my hair hasn't got worse since i started it, in fact im sure it's got better.

no, finasteride will not work for 40 years. to be honest nobody really knows how long it will last. i mean. it's only been on the market about 10 years..

there are people on here who have been taking it for 8 years or more.

that aside, in 40 years time you will:

a) not give a sh*t
b) have a 'cure' at your disposal.

having 10 more years of hair is not a "waste". Would you rather go bald at 23 or 33?

i dunno, i mean yea 33 better than 23 but i think id rather just get this over with and adjust rather than having to endure the agony of wondering how long finasteride will work....who are some of the users on here that have used finasteride for 8 years...hows it working for you?

in my opinion it won't damage your hair but is unlikely from preventing further loss either

hey eatmadbox, go with fincar same price as finpecia and u just quater them with pill cutter takes 2 secs. and you will be saving your self a ton of money if you decide to stay with it in long run.

ps and antonio why say that, if he catchs it real early and is a good responder 83 percent chance he is, he can took to stay above baseline for a long time. ive personaly seen people stay above baseline for 10 years. the stuff works if your a responder in the first year, i think the better you respond the longer you will stay above baseline. the propecia 5 year trials show 90 percent maintained or improved above baseline, and that was with the 17 percent non responders dragin it down. im not stayin propecia is a cure but if you get no side effects and are a good responder in a year, i think its well worth it to stay on it for 10 years and have the same amount of hair.
