I bought a bottle of foam, Rogaine Minoxidil but I am not sure if I wanna use it.
Today I'm on finasteride (5 split into 4) since 2 months back maybe? I think it has decreased some of my shedding but I still feel that my hair in my most prone area is pretty sensitive, which is scaring me a bit. I don't think I drop as much hair in the shower as some people here but I try to shower my hair at least 4-5 times a week which may or may not be misleading because I shower away some of my fallen hair quickly before they can gather up (the ones that get stuck).
I started using Nizoral since a couple of weeks back and it has done me well so far. I rarely scratch my head now compared to before.
Not part of a doomed family. I am one of the few who has actually had problems with it and sadly I'm probably ahead of the timeline of the others a bit at the age of 26-27 (no really major balding at all in my family but hair loss for sure).
Important part to follow:
---
I am thinning out in the temples (and on top of my head with slight bit on my crown but not much).
Probably a norwood 2 with some diffuse thinning if that info matters.
Other than Finasteride and Nizoral I try to get some B vitamins, ashwagandha and whatever else that might not help my hair grow, is probably gonna help my well being and keep my healthy if nothing else.
I probably have had some issues with inflammation.
I am on the crossroad if I wanna try Minoxidil, should I? I read that it sheds hairs and try to regrow them. When I read that and having what I believe is a bit of sensitive scalp and perhaps hair on top I am afraid I will speed up the sheeding by rocket speed and have nothing regrow there. I realize that people have different success with it but is that a reported possibility or am I just being paranoid? Is Minoxidil what I should try if I wanna give thickening my hair on top a bit a shot? Where do I apply it and how much? Should I do once or twice a day? What are the benefits of doing it a 2nd time other than after shower at night?
I also added demaroller this week. Would I use minoxidil after that?
---
Also, at the places where I'm thinning my hair is incredibly dry. At first I thought it was the styling products I use, which are pretty mild but I do clean out every day but I'm not sure, the dry part is where I know I am losing hair but not at all places where you can usually find styling products. Is it part of the balding process or is there any Product to make my hair less dry? When I'm not using nizoral I try to use my tea schampoo and conditioner which make my hair better but are not a world turner. Can it dry part just be an illusion of now touching several hairs rather than a straw of hairs (when it was thicker).
