Should I use oral finasteride or topical dutasteride for my hairline thinning?

Hi guys,

as you can see on the picture, my hairline is thinning and it is getting significantly worse during the last year. 30 years old now. So far I am only using minoxidil and a few experiments like Zix, broccoli seeds or oral castor oil.

I think I cannot get away without either using Finasteride or Dutasteride when I want to save my hairline. The question is just whether I want to use topical dutasteride or oral finasteride, both I have here.

What would you start with in my situation?

I heard the horror stories about oral finasteride side effects, and I heard horror stories about dutasteride annihilating hairlines and healthy, non dht-affected hair. So I am not quite sure what should be my first try.

I would avoid the option for Dutasteride completely until last, as the drug is more powerfull then Finasteride.

Now you can take oral Finasteride or like myself I use Topical Finasteride, as oral did give me side effects.

Ideally you need to BIG4,

Finasteride
Minoxidil
Ketaconazole (Nizoral and Regenepure DR)
Derma Roller

See below, you can compound the mixture with mixed minoxidil or Finasteride alone, 5% to 15%.

Topical Finasteride

Topical Dutasteride
