Should you use a foaming shampoo with SLS if you have male pattern baldness

From my understanding, foaming is better because it can get in the knooks and crannies of your hair follicles and remove DHT and dirt, but at the same time it's more stripping. Would it be a good idea to use a foaming SLS shampoo like Alpacin once weekly and SLS free shampoo on the other days?

Shampoos without SLS dried the f*** out of my scalp. On the other hand, SLS also dries it out but depends on which brand I'm using. Paul Mitchell's tea tree is... meh, but at least it doesn't itch as much as it used to and make my scalp feel clean. Unfortunately it's too much expensive, so I'll have to buy some other brand to replace it asap

Yep, but I've found that applying a hair oil before washing the hair (say 30 mins before) significantly counteracts the drying effects of SLS. So maybe try that?

Honestly bro I ain't touching oils never again. Got an allergic reaction to coconut oil once and destroyed my scalp, pretty much accelerated my hair loss. Thanks for the suggestion anyway
