This is what happened, tried to keep it short and clear, maybe it helps you too. (Correct me please If I state scientific things that are not true):

I took generic finasteride 1mg - 3 times a week. At the first day I got severe testicle pain, some people report the same and it subsided for them just like it did for me, so I went on and didn't think about it. On the 17th day I got gyno symptoms and stopped. The gyno seemed to be reversed after a few days. I read someone waited for just a short time and went on, his gyno never came back apparently. 10 days later (the 27th day) when things seemed to be normal, I made a mistake and wanted to try a lower dose I took approximately 1/8 of a pill (0.125mg) and on the same day I felt the gyno pain again with mild testicle pain. After this I stopped fully.

7 months since I stopped finasteride, still have mild gyno. After stopping my testicles became softer and shrinked. They are smaller than pre-finasteride till today. I got a protocol made by experienced people to reverse both symptoms, I wait for the medications to and maybe time heals it too.

I assume there was still finasteride in my body when I wanted to try the low dose, and before starting finasteride at all I didn't exercise for a long time, lost majority of my old gains, was depressed, anxious, didn't eat a lot or healthy but had low body fat though (high body fat is connected with more estrogen if I am not mistaken), low libido with 22 years of age. There are people who say when you get side effects from finasteride, you had a bad hormone profile beforehand and the finasteride throwed you off at the end. I am about to change my lifestyle and feel how my Testosterone increases (higher libido, shaper mind, energy) and I didn't do the reversal protocol yet.

I don't know what would happen when I take finasteride again, so I think it through clearly before I do anything like taking it topically or again low dose orally. I am thinking about topical dutasteride too, but I didn't quite understand fully how it works and what to do (don't have access to the discord channel). I want to maintain my hair at least without getting side effects.

Any advices, similar experiences?
