Side effects of Propecia besides low libido...

I'm about to start popping these Finpecia pills and I just wanted to know, does anyone know of any other short or long term side effects of finasteride?
Also tell me if this is right - I'm only concerned about the crown for the most part, so I have a lot of hair; - there is no studies showing hair loss from finasteride is there? I mean, from what I've read, the only hair you lose is what you gained while taking it if you stop, correct?

That is not entirely true, but in most cases it's all cool.

If you do stop, just don't do it cold turkey.

You need to gradually reduce your dose to avoid a hyperandrogenic response, which could cause you to lose more hair than you started out with, yes.

If that it works like that, the opposite should also work. i.e.: taking a huge load of steroids for a short period of time, so that I get a hypoandrogenic response and ergo end up with more hair than I'd have hadn't I taken the steroids.
My intuition tells me it just doesn't work like that but, anyway, intuition sometimes can be deceiving...

I experienced a dull ache in my testicles within days of begining Proscar, it still comes and goes with varying intensity, I woke with a very bloated stomach several mornings early on too but that has subsided. I may finally be experiencing mild libido loss after a month and my semen is definately more watery than previously, I also noticed some acne on my body this week. All of these side effects have been bearable so far and I'm seeing them as a sign of positive response, nevertheless.. you should be aware of them.
