Hey,

I'm a 19 year old diffuse thinner, centered around my crown. I became aware of this about 6 or 7 months ago and fear that my hair has gotten worse in that span of time. I tried finasteride and got sexual side effects about a month and a half ago (I'm pretty much back to normal, with the exception of not getting any morning erections). I then tried minoxidil 5% for 2 weeks, but my eyes were constantly sore and I developed wrinkles under my eyes.

So, I really really need your help. This is kind of a make it or break it moment. As of now, my hair loss is pretty much undetectable unless I'm out in the sunlight. As much as I'd like to regrow some, I realistically need to drop my priorities to maintaining what I have, as I use a bunch of hair thickening methods to hide my thinning--which I can live with.

If not finasteride or minoxidil, then what? I just ordered some spironolactone S5 cream, and I use Nizoral three times a week. But I NEED something else, at least to maintain for the next 10 years when I predict projects like Histogen will become affordable to the general public. What should I use? Revivogen, Folligen, Tricomin, something else I haven't heard about?

Nothing else works. There's lots of experimental stuff but it's... experimental and the only proven results are really from finasteride and minoxidil. There's promising results with dutasteride it seems. Most other stuff seems limited and I haven't seen results from another but the three I mentioned.

...or a transplant...
