Sides shedding dramatically..

Just pulled out 8 hairs from just in front of my ear , the hair there has become almost non-existent , I'm 19 .. Isn't this an unusual road for male pattern baldness to take?

hey man. im 18 and im losing hair up front, esp at the temples.
im on finasteride and minoxidil. im about a month and a half into it and ive been shedding like crazy. it seems like every time i touch my hair something falls out. alot of people say this is normal so im hoping the drugs will begin to turn things around.
