I had sides. I stopped in mid-May after taking finasteride for a total of one month and still have not completely recovered. That would be post-propecia syndrome. Some people have it much worse - going years without ever recovering from sexual and mental side effects. It certainly doesn't happen to everyone but if you are one of those unfortunate people it is absolutely miserable.

If I could have done it all over again I would have done 0.25 mg per day instead of 1 mg per day. That would be my suggestion.

I experienced sides but it disappeared after about 2 months. Quitting after a month is too early.. you are not giving your body a chance to adapt.

I have heard that but frankly going two full weeks without being able to get an erection, period, at age 22 was more than enough to make me quit.

yes it was two months for me for side effects to disappear to pre finasteride days. It takes a while for your body to regulate hormones to normal levels. Even longer if you have been on finasteride for a while. I was on finasteride for 5 and a half months.

same thing happened to me.. except that I stayed on it and now my erection is back to normal after 2 months. I think you quit too early.
