Sides?!

Hello everyone, I think I am going to start taking Finasteride very soon, but I wanted to know a few things first to make myself feel a bit better about it.

The side effects I have read about are obviously worrying, but is it right that there is only a 2% (approx.) chance of them happening? Because it seems a lot of people on here have suffered with it. Could I realistically use finasteride without any sides occuring?

My 2nd question is about the 83% figure given as a succes rate to finasteride users. That's an amazing ratio, is tit actually real? Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.

Your chances are extremely good that you will look the same or better with 5 years of use.


A lot of people get the following sides it seems: Ball-ache or unusual semen. Other sides are much less common it seems.

I have been using finasteride for 29 days now, no sides at all.


I highly recommend you stop procrastinating like I did for MONTHS and just get on it so that you can save as much as possible. I regret wasting time and hair not doing so! DAMMIT!

The sides are over hyped.

That's a very long time.

I think finasteride will lose it's effectiveness for me around 5-10 years. But I am hoping by then I will have money for a transplant...or a cure.

There definitely is a lot of hope. Just don't waste time anymore man.

If I got on this drug 2-3 years ago I could have had GREAT hair today. But I was uneducated about everything. I feel so guilty about that!

Don't do the same damn thing. Just get on the damn drug, and see if you get sides! Ball ache, low libido, weird semen...blah blah those are more common but they go away with use also.

Just get on the drug and educate yourself about the side effects if you ask me. But I am no expert this is only my opinion!
