8 weeks minoxidil first foam, now liquid. I am really disappointed at this point. Most success stories who involve minoxidil tell about how they saw "little black hairs" after 4-6 weeks. Of course, I see nothing, just shedding (though I wouldn´t say my hair has become that much thinner). What can I expect? Is it possible that new hairs suddenly pop out in a few days? I don´t know, I somehow feel like minoxidil is doing sh*t for me, just gave me a lovely bloated face as I have posted before. And the story goes on and on..... :thumbsdown:

minoxidil wont do sh*t after only 8 weeks,you need to give it at least 6 months and i really recommend staying on foam,its far superior

I responded reasonably well to Minoxidil, but it was the Propecia that made the biggest difference for me. I noticed lots of very very fine blonde/transparent hairs where I applied it. I've been on it for 3.5 months. My crown also has very very tiny new hairs that look like strands of fiber from my clothes. They're definitely hair. I see them occasionally when I put my hand through my hair, and they were never there before. The hairs look strange when you look at them closely because they look like vellus hairs but are way too long. It would be nice if they were thicker, but I'm waiting it out.

no no no taug! you must understand by now that you should give minoxidil much longer than a few weeks? even if you see results in a few weeks it may just be small vellus hairs,you must have patience and give them time to turn terminal....i know its tough but stick with it for at least a year.at least!

I finally got my uncle at the begginging of the summer who was like a norwood 4 to get on rogaine. he started using it everyday and then 2 weeks later told me he wasn't seeing any hair growing and this was getting ridiculous. I explained to him that it would take about 4 months to see small hairs come through and another 6 months before those small hairs start becoming terminal. He was not happy with this at all and thought rogaine was a waste of time.

People are willing to go bald the rest of there lives then just be patient for 6-8 months. People are idiotic. If you knew that if you started rubbing magic lotion on your face that would make you 75% better looking then you already are one year from now, would you rub it in everyday? if you said no then I promise one year from now you'll be kicking yourself in the *** when some chick at a bar thinks you're cute but not 75% more cute enough to bang you..... ya dickheads
