So Depressed Because Minoxidil Ruined My Hairline

hi guys , as you know ive been using minoxidil for 7 month now on my temple and hairline , and it has really ruined it , i just got a shedding , and the hair didnt regrow ; ive got flaking and red scalp , but no f*****g result .

I didnt shed any hair since 2 month of minoxidil, but the hair lost during the initial shed didnt regrow . I didnt know that minoxidil culd make hair worse .

Unfortunately, the way these studies are designed we can only gauge what minoxidil does in the aggregate.

In the aggregate, it buys time. When you stop using minoxidil, you go back to where you would have been without the minoxidil in a few months.

In my own case, I'm not noticing significant difference after several months of minoxidil and RU.

but bro i was previously on propecia for 16 month before starting , and that was maintaining my vellu hair at hairline . I hoped it would thicken it but i has just shed

The problem is that despite having had a shed at the beginning and no result , ive got a f*****g hypertrichosis because the minoxidil , so i can't massage it anymore . Do you think i can just let the minoxidil liquid soak on my scalp and achieving some result ?

I dropped minoxidil today after 6 months minoxidil. Lost half my density en hairline destroyed. No signs of regrowth or thicker hair. Time for something else and i hope the hair grows back that shedded because minoxidil. Unfortunately i thinks chances are low it will grow back

Have you seen regrowth with the RU? you use it daily? how many ml does those 15mg have?

Im lossing hope, I have used minoxidil, finasteride topical, spironolactone topical, and my scalp itches and my hair keeps falling. I hope the RU works because im at the verge of jumping in front of a train or something.

Minoxidil destros your hair. Then it regrows a very little bit. Not enough to compensate the destruction ot caused. It has ruined my hairline.
Has anyone recovered from the shed in the hairline?

I've been using minoxidil for several years and I never experienced any shedding. I was never fond of minoxidil, though. My #1 hairloss treatment is and always was finasteride. In fact, I'm waiting for Brotzu's lotion to quit minoxidil completely.

As for scalp irritation, use the wonderful Rogaine foam - it contains no alcohol and is better tolerated.
