So I decided to try Photofeeler with and without noticable hair loss

As a title says, I had always wondered how much hair loss has impacted me looks wise. So I heard of Photofeeler and uploaded two pics: one photo 5 years ago with medium-long hair (NW2,5 but very well hidden and nice haircut) and more current one with buzz-cut NW3+. More current one is actually better picture: good smile and a bit better quality.

It seems losing hair has costed me a drop of 5-6 points - yes, that´s brutal and this was shocking. According to a Photofeeler, I would be a top 10% with hair but with buzzcut (badly receding hairline) I would be bottom 20-30%.

Needless to say, this was a final straw for me so I will definately book a hair transplant for a spring/summer.

It probably depends a lot on other factors of your picture too: facial expression, light, setting etc.. It is likely that your attractiveness drops but you won't go from a 9 to a 3.

Yeah and you're not really a 9 if you get rated a 9 on Photofeeler. They seem to rate based on photo quality, not how good looking you actually are

Photofeeler results are almost 100% down to hair. I have tested over 100 photos. I see NW1 guys take regular photos and get over 9 rating on attractiveness. My best photos were lower than 7 and even when I paid for a pro photoshoot, I couldn't get a high attractiveness rating with the pro photos. Most of the time, but not always, the Photofeeler results are a true reflection of how the photo will perform on dating services. Less than 7.5 on attractiveness and it probably will be useless. Absolutely nothing makes up for being bald. Your life is ruined, no matter what you try to do, and nothing can make up for that.

Also I have many times considered using an old average photo of me with hair on Photofeeler but I think that I don't want want to confirm the truth and feel the pain.

It's weird because my fav photos of myself were rated 6.5-7.5

And then photos I don't really like were rated 8-9

I posted a random good looking NW1 guy who can get laid on apps easily and he got rated 5.5-6.5
