yup.. + no 1 knows long time effect on avodart.
and its still in trials to get aproved... but avodart works.. but you could get more severe sides... but it works well for many.. that dont have sides yet.

basically I am an 18 yo Norwood 1 who wants to start on either propecia or topical dutasteride. I do not want severe sides so I'm not going the oral dutasteride route, which one do you guys recommend? Is topical duta even effective at preventing sides?
u could probably try both, although i've never really heard success stories from topical dutasteride. but definitely try oral finasteride.

I would not get started on Dutasteride just yet, try the Finasteride first for a year. Besides, topical dutasteride is systematically absorbed, so there is no advantage of using it in this manner.
