solution ?

I have been on Propecia for over six years. The stuff has worked WONDERS for me, I could not ask for more. However, it has come at a price. The usual side effects have always been present (barely tolerable) so I learned to live with it. I read on this forum that cutting the pills in half was a good way to combat the side affects. So, about one month ago I decided to try it. I can say the problem seems to have solved itself. I have noticed a very signfiicatn decrease in side effects, but I wonder how much of the effectivness of the drug has been deminished. Any thoughts on this ?

did you get regrowth or just maintained for 6 years?

I heard that half a pill is about 80% as effective as a full one, but then I don't know if there's any proof of that.

I didnt maintain, I totally regrew massive amounts of hair. When I first started I underwent a pretty bad shed but decided to stick with it. I was seriously days away from shaving my head when it started coming back in. Since then I have gone off of Propecia several times, lost a lot of hair, gone back and regrew it all.
