A number 2 buzz cut would do wonders for those two but they aren't "bald", they're balding. If they had bald spots on the mid-scalp or the crown then it would be different.

That's bald. To another person that's as bald as a norwood 7

It's funny how it's always the fullheads that tell us how they "would just shave it". Most of these guys won't even consider shaving their own head or even buzz it. It is way easier said than done. How often do you actually see somebody that is completely shave down? Not very often. Until you actually shave your own head you should refrain from recommending it to anybody, no matter how much hair they may have lost.

You're a perfectionist, these guys have almost all their hair left. Why should they shave their hair?

Should all people with non perfect hair quality shave their heads? I mean, a lot of women have far from perfect hair: "shave it off, it's not perfect".

Don't want to be rude, but your view on reality is a bit ****ed up man.

I agree with what you say in principle - it's a very tough decision. But here in the UK, once people lose a certain amount of hair, it's buzz/shave. I think anything beyond Norwood 3 or a very visible thinning patch in the vertex requires the buzz.

I rarely see Norwood 3s here with thinning hair elsewhere, growing it out, looks very weak. Almost seems etiquette to go for the clippers.

Currently even though I am close to a Norwood 3 with a slightly thinning vertex, the thick hair elsewhere means I can avoid the buzz, for now.

Everyone does what feels best but using the clippers is so damn hard.

The problem is not "just shave it" Its let me shave your head THEN BIC a horseshoe or island patch in the top. Thats when you get the truth. A NW1 who clips to the 0 blade and still has perfect stubble is still considered dangerous and hot.
Ugh I regret shaving this time. I can SO see the awful horse shoe as its growing back in and my top is so diffuse its embarrassing.
Its like once you shave youre TRAPPED to continue or be forced to go through this awful transition phase of "HEY EVERYONE LOOK HOW BALD/ING I AM!!!!!"

Grow the horseshoe out, be free.

I tried buzzing, and it looked bad. So, I don't know what being "free" from is. If you have a thin neck it actually looks more effeminate, not masculine, with short hair.

I have a bull neck. 18inches of solidified marrow. I am six weeks in from growing out the horseshoe. Another six and I will be ready for "game"

I've actually come to like my #1 all over (head and beard). Cant actually see myself growing it out even tho I've made some decent density and hair line gains over the last 8 months ☺

Just make sure your sides aren't parallel to the point you can put a level on it with accurate measurement. That and no diffusion, and retrograde alopecia going on.

Biggest give away is the density difference, and lack of temple points due to miniaturization for these partial wearers. Hence why most the time wigs don't fool anyone unless you are on medication, have strong temple points, and donor area prior to wig.
