"We are given life; we live it as it should be lived. Don't waste whatever years you have left, worrying about aspects of life you have no control over."

Easier said and done i know, but atleast try. This isnt just about hair but how SOME people are like to you. Whatever is said to you, what ever is done to you etc, at the end of the day its up to you how you make of it, it was nice seeing some friendly faces and even the new ones, good luck and i hope things get better and work out regardless what you do, hair transplant or you just shave etc etc, why shouldnt it? peace out for now, and see you when i see you :).

Thanks for the encouragement DannyBoyy.

Yes, definitely easier said than done. The reason why it's practically impossible to be positive about hair loss is because, well, there's nothing positive about it really. For me, being positive about hair loss is by using treatments, and keeping myself from becoming bald for as long as I'm able to with the medications.

Yes baldness never leaves us alone. If we have the moxy or tenacity to plough ahead in life then that is what we should do. Hopefully we have enough positive interests to compensate and buffer us from the characteristically debilitating and demoralizing effects of this serious disease.

That's nice but could we get society to get off our back on baldness? Surely they have some control over the shit they give us?

Problem is you're being judged whether you like it or not. I am on the move so will leave it at that. I agree on not wasting your life, you have to accept certain things about your life if you can't solve the root issue.

Life is short, I know that much. I spent nearly two years of my prime isolating myself from friends and family.... I quit my job, stopped education... Solely due to the way I perceived myself when looking in the mirror.

I'm in a much better place now but if I could go back in time I would have done things differently.

So it all boils down to this

Hair piece
Hair transplant

Hair = finasteride + (hair transplant)-(hs)

Give me hair and I'll be happy, what's so worse about hair loss is that we had more hair last year and last year we were already miserable about having hair loss.

Yes hair pieces will never be a solution to hair loss and may be at best a temporary coping trick to thinly disguise our otherwise overt lacking. Sometimes an illusion or compromise is necessary after all effective strategies are exhausted and sometimes an illusion looks even worse than the original blemish or shame it's desperately hiding.
