"Scalp testosterone levels significantly increased in all active treatment groups compared with placebo, increasing by 23%, 39%, 99%, and 222% with 0.05-, 0.1-, 0.5 and 2.5-mg Dutasteride, respectively, and 23% with Finasteride"

while local concentrations of testosterone in the prostate gland increase by about 7-fold and local testosterone levels in hair follicles increase by around 27 to 53%.[69][70]
.

What can we learn from this?

Perhaps… It’s trial & error… Duasteride may increase testosterone, but it drastically cuts DHT.. Which is a net plus when it comes to male pattern baldness. To decrease testosterone.. drugs like Spirolactone will do that. Up to 50 mg has little side effects

You might gain 99% more T in hair follicles, but you are severely crippling DHT (which is 500% as strong as T btw)

So yeah, net positive
