I've been very relgious with my hairloss regimen, but out of nowhere it seems to have sped up. THe gaps btwn my diffuse hairs are getting ridiclously huge, there are no hair follicles even to be seen. Even @ guard 0, my situation is rapidly deterioating. I wrote a uni test really quickly the other day..and my friend said his friend referred to me as "the bald kid"....this isnt f*****g cool..

Dude he referred to you as that because your hair is always buzzed off. People dont give a sh*t if you're bald or not its just an observation. I mean what would you call someone who has their hair cut really short as well? BALD!

What about skinhead? I dont know, it seems to be getting worse and worse. I've be on proscar for about 1.5 years now..minoxidil for about 5 months now I think...MSM daily of 2000 mg, and nizoral sometimes or neutrogena. Dandruff is continously on my head even if i scrub it with that shampoo. The hairline is still very solid maybe even improved but the gaps are just getting huge. @ my work there is this grandpa who is essentially Nw1 but it looks like he has 1000 hairs on his whole head. It does the trick covering it, its not even a combover because theres no place with less density. It's just his whole hairdo is one big f*****g comboover basically.

Dude there's nothing else you can do. You will need to ajust your attitute and try to be more positive overall, that should help with alot of things in life, i know for me that i ALWAYS had HUGE dandruff and sh*t when i played alot of video games and got nervous because of that. I've cut down and do more exercise and better eating and the dandruff is gone. your cause can be completely different of course. you're on meds and it appears they're not working, i dont know what else there is to say, end that chapter of your life and try to start fresh and positive

Ya im always under heavy stress to be honest. Always some bullshit happening btwn my buddies and I. Without going into specifics (@ least today) you could probably LITERALLY write a soap drama, and keep it going for a good 2-4 years. No f*****g joke.

Ya man, i dont know ANYTHING about your personal life but if your friends are causing you sh*t and stress, maybe its time to reconsider hanging out with people who bring you down.

Then I got nobody left, and im shitty with meeting new people. And if I reduce the number of ppl I chill with ill go from having f*** all to do on the weekends, to seriusly havining f*****g nothing to do. Yes guys, im just about as bad as taug in real life, but try to limit the whining and b.s. As for the keeping it up part its not an issue here. Fine, im leaving HairLossTalk.com, i quit im throwing in the towel. Who wants 2 bottles of unused foam and 6 months of proscar supplies for $20?

Believe me, I'm probably the only on this board who REALLY knows your situation since mine is very similar to yours. I've been on meds for 1.5 years too and the thinning is creeping forward. I'm going to see my derm tomorrow and I'm going to ask him if the thinks I'm balder than the last time I've seen him and if he thinks my gyno is bad enough for quitting finasteride etc. It might be that my "hairloss battle" will be over for good tomorrow. It's not easy living with BDD especially now that I discovered that my nose really is pretty damn crooked and broken, I'm getting kinda anxious at times. I wish I had been smarter and gone to the doctor straight away, he probably could've straightened the nose before the bones healed again. Well, life sucks and then you die, keep hanging there buddy and play with the cards you've been dealt.

Hey GHG, welcome back again...to bad about the gyno...have you tried jogging and dieting and all that stuff? I have read on several bodybuilding about gyno .that if you got gyno from fat you could excercise it away..but if you have it because your "nipplegland" is expanding you have to stop your meds for it to stop expanding...or have surgery..but i think they have started to treat gyno with laser..could be worth a try or at least ask your derm if he knows anything about it.

And stop obsessing about your looks..you have posted some pics on this site and I really cant see nothing wrong..but everybody got something that they obsess about..for me its my crown at the moment..thinned out quite bad since I started propecia..

And again..you got a lookalike in Norway that gets alot of chicks..so your looks cant be that bad :)

good luck tomorrow

Hey I'm sure that you never used to be so obsessed. You seem to be just as bothered about your looks as Taug (except you dont talk about it as if its the end of the world). Its laughable really because both of you have absolutley no reason to worry about your looks) I would describe you both as better than average looking guys.

MacAttack, I'm basically in your same situation. I've been applying dreaded minoxidil and my hair is only getting worse. I have asymmetrical diffused thinning. It's just horrible, simply horrible. It just really sucks to have to expect it to get worse before it gets better because of the chance of it never getting better at all. I never thought my hair would be at the stage of hair loss its at now.
