I think RU8 or whatever it´s called turned out to be not working.
I think that 2006 will see some sort of product from Elseem or some company like that and it´s supposed to help cell differentiation.

I think that the next big thing will be in 2009 - 2010 and that will be Hair Multiplication (HM).

Currently there are 3 major players.

Intercytex - Uk based
Bazaan - US/Mexico
Dr Gho - Holland (one person but he´s pretty sharp from what I understand).

what is hair multiplication? It sounds good :)

google for it, it's also known as hair cloning (but its not really cloning)

If I'm right, what it amounts to is a major improvement over the existing hair restoration procedures, something like 5X the hair count. It's what we're all hoping for, and in this case I don't care if it is false hope.

p.s. start saving for it now, it will probably be really expensive at first.

Intercytex is really the only major player with anything to offer. They are heavily funded by Johnson & Johnson and even Bosley.

Dr. Bazan seems like nothing more than a crackpot.

Dr. Gho is bankrupt.
