its driving me crazy, i dont know what to do. sometimes im cool with it, i just wish i could be like that all the time. doesn't help that i just got a ****ty haircut. im taking uh biotin even though i know it doesnt do **** for my hairline but whatever, thinking about doing hot olive oil and honey but i know i'll probably never get around to it. but who knows, maybe i will. oh and i'm trying to be healthier, not going days where I only eat one meal... oh and also i've pulled my hair out before probably around 4-5 times, i think i did it around the top where i needed it most. probably has something to do with it but not much? i dont know, i try not to blame it on that because it doesn't make sense.

looks like u ll be loosing many hair if you dont treat them with sth. like propecia or RU .You have a hardcore body hair growth for a 20 year old which means u have high DHT anyway which will attack ur hair follicles pretty hard

To be honest, you have a pretty big receding hairline and the quality of you hair on top, in the front looks bad. You have pretty aggressive hair loss for a 20 year old so if you expect to be rocking a full helmet so to speak by the time you're in your 30's, you probably should start taking serious measures to slow it down and hopefully regrow.

If you don't have any scalp conditions or extra dry hair, I really don't see how oil and honey are going to stop your hair loss. If you are trying to tread a scalp condition or want to shine up your hair, try using coconut oil. I dab my fingers in coconut oil and apply a small amount to my hair after showering. I don't think it does anything for hair loss, however.

My suggestion is to start using regenepure DR shampoo and drop all other shampoos/ conditioners with sulfates in them. Give it a few weeks, hang around the forum and see which hair loss regimen will be right for you. Good luck!!

Hi Floral, My condolences to you and your hair issue. First off ,have you had a physician examine and diagnose your M.P.B. and have you had any blood work recently that checked out fine ( no underlying illnesses)? If not do so ASAP to establish your health profile and base line. I must be frank with you if you are indeed experiencing M.P.B.( as I believe you are) you must act swiftly and comprehensively. Some persons claim there are other effective treatments, but for the moment it's still the same old FDA blessed unholy 3 (Minoxidil 5%,Finasteride, Nizoral 1% or 2%) we have at our disposal. An exceptionally conscientious physician may not approve of prescribing finasteride. because of your age, and maybe you'll be the wiser to wait another year or two and err on the side of caution using finasteride. Your hair loss appears it is aggressive therefore an aggressive counter measure is quite necessary in order to rescue and/or restore your hair line. A long term healthier alternative may be for you to accept your hair loss. Tragically most of us here possess Orpheus-like tendencies and can't help but frantically look back. God speed to you and all the best.

Floral you are a full matured male. You beard is fully grown as well as your chest hair I really doubt you have any more development going on other than losing hair, so I wouldn't worry about starting finasteride your age. I recommenced going to a Dermatologist or hair specialist rather than a general physician.

Get on finasteride, don't wait. You're a hairy physically mature looking guy, you're almost certainly physically mature enough and have enough testosterone that finasteride is not going to give you any sides. It's men with low testosterone (but high follicle sensitivity) or teens who have not yet physically matured that finasteride isn't safe for. Don't wait another second.
