Spectral DNC and scalp staining?

I have recently purchased some Spectral DNC for the first time. Having researched it though I am a bit apprehensive about using it due to many users complaining of it discolouring the scalp. What i would like to know is if if the discolouring occurs only while the Spectral DNC is applied, or whether it remains after say it has been absorbed and washed off?

Supposedly, they are making colorless Spectral DNC-- and is being marketed easily. E-mail the makers-- they will tell you.
