spironolactone - 5% Lotion or 2% solution - Which is better

Any suggestions. I just ordered the Xandrox 15 from Dr. Lee. Want to add spironolactone and get off propecia. Any thoughts.....

Intuitively, I would say 5% are always better than 2%.

2% is much easier to apply to areas with hair (diffuse thinners). The 5% is a cream not a lotion and is best used on areas with little to no hair or the hairline.

Badhair summoned it up pretty nicely. I´m doing this - 2% for the scalp, 5% for the hairline and only at night. 2% both night and day.

I've used both, here's the pros and cons

5% pros- 5% is more than 2%, doesn't have odor, doesn't irritate scalp.
cons- higher price, harder to apply

2% pros- cheap, absorbs better, much easier to apply
cons- smells like ***, slight irritation

As for which one works better, who knows?
