Does anyone know when it is safe to use Dr. Lee's spironolactone 5% in the non-grafted crown area post-surgery?

In addition, when can I begin to use Tricomin or American Crew Revitalize?

Is it safe after one (1) month?

Any Doctors or Techs have any input?

I'd guess so....as long as the area is all healed up. I waited until 3 weeks after my surgery to start using Rogaine again. Then after a month I started using the Nizoral 1% shampoo every other wash or so.

What about using Topical spironolactone 5% after a transplant?

When is it safe?

Any doctors or techs care to opine?

You said it was an ungrafted area so it should be fine. But why not pose the question to the Doctor who recommended you on the spironolactone to begin with? Just curious, are you taking finasteride?

Yeah, I am taking finasteride, but I like using spironolactone 5% because one of the main ingredients in the topical is aloe vera, which moisturizes my scalp and combats the excessive drying caused by minoxidil.

Plus, I think it can breakdown any excess DHT still present in the scalp, notwithstanding the work of propecia.
