This story has a few parts, which is why I posted in General.

I haven't posted here in 6 years. Honestly, I've seen a ridiculous turnaround and my hair is twice as good as it was when I was 18 years old.... I'm 28 now. When I first posted here I was concerned that I was having adverse effects of Propecia (sex drive sky rocketed, skin was super oily, lots of shedding).

Anyways, I stuck out Propecia and added other things to my regimen and the results have been amazing. I went from being 18 with the worst head of hair to being 28 and people telling me that I have the best hair they've seen.

My regimen was: Head and Shoulders Shampoo, Propecia, minoxidil Foam, Lipogaine, S5 Cream (spironolactone), and multivitamins + fish oil. I would also take Dutasteride once or twice a week.

Now they discontinued 2 of the products that were working so well for me. The biggest one being S5 Cream. I know this was working because my hairline hair was straight and looked like testosterone was not impacting growth. Now that there is no spironolactone (S5 Cream) - that has changed. Follione (made by S5 makers supposedly) does not seem to be doing the trick for fighting testosterone on my scalp. Anyone having similar issues? What to do?

My advice drop all of it and just stay on propecia/minoxidil the proven stuff that is most likely giving you all your results anyway.
The fact topical spironolactone was discontinued tells you how effective it probably was.

I have a spironolactone topical blend from my Dr--its made for women though it has estrodial and some other stuff in it.

He makes a male blend with topical finasteride and some other stuff in it.

I can't speak to effectiveness of either--just started the topical spironolactone.

Where did you get topical spironolactone?? My theory is that DHT and Test both affect hair growth. DHT is not a problem, but controlling Test (which causes the curley cube type hairs) is more difficult without spironolactone. Any input would be great, thanks.
