Started the foam a month ago...anyone have this side effect?

Hi folks,

Started the rogaine foam (5%) about a month ago. I have started to shed a little, but thanks to you guys I am not worried about it. What I am worried about is the funny smell thats coming from my urine.

You know when you drink coffee you can kind of smell it in your urine sometimes? Well it appears like I am getting this same type of reaction since starting the rogaine foam. I feel fine and all, but my urine definitely smells a little strange since starting my regime (just T-gel, nizoral, and foam for now. will see dermatologist on the 26th this month for propecia).

Anyway, a little more about myself. I just turned 33 and started seeing my hair loss about a year ago. I have never done steroids before in my life but did take a Testosterone booster supplement which contained Tribulus Terresteris and DHEA. Yeah it increaed my testosterone all right along with my hair loss. Needless to say I am off this supplement and am doing my best until I can get some propecia.

Any feedback on my rogaine scented urine? I will post pics soon so I can establish a baseline but my webcam took a dive literally off the top of my monitor.

Hmm.....

I sound like a rare case. The sad thing is that the foam seems to be really working for me (i have sprouted a few new hairs at the temples, nothing dramatic but noticeable because they are a considerable distance from my temples where I am completely bald) and I don't want to stop using it. :sobbing:

If I took a week hiatus from treatment, how badly would I shed? Has anyone taken a break from minoxidil. just to take a break?
