Starting Bicalutamide, In Need Of Some Advice

My hair loss has continued to progress on dutasteride 0.5mg, Spironolactone 200mg, and oral Minoxidil 10mg. I’m going to order bicalutamide as soon as I get to college in a couple weeks but I want to be prepared. I have received little to no side effects on my current regimen, I might have mild gyno or a lower libido but it’s so slight that it could just be in my head.

If spironolactone didn’t work for me what are the odds that bicalutamide does?

I assume I won’t get regrowth with an AA alone, is it possible to spot treat with estrogel or does that pretty much guarantee irreversible systemic effects?

I thought I wasn’t in much danger of permanent infertility until I got to the point of taking estrogen, but should I freeze sperm before I start
bicalutamide?

Is there anything I should do to prepare? I’m going to order v**** with my bicalutamide just in case it gives me ED. I don’t want my dick to shrink from atrophy. How much of the “feminization” can I counteract by working out and a good diet?

Should I be taking Flutamide instead? I’ve read that the % occurrence of gyno is way lower.

Also what’s the risk of hyperandrogenocity? If it happened would I just up my dosage?

Bicalutamide is significantly stronger than spironolactone, and should show results when used alone since it raises E. You don't need to freeze sperm if you are using bicalutamide, since it seemingly doesn't have an effect on that (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1759544). Bicalutamide seemingly doesn't cause penile shrinkage since it doesn't have an effect on nocturnal erections (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1378907). You won't experience feminisation, you will more so notice a reversal of the effects of puberty. Feminisation is generally seen at doses of 150mg/day, which is the dose used as monotherapy for transgender individuals. Don't take flutamide; that is significantly more harsher on the liver, and is known for it's significant rate of liver abnormalities. You most likely wouldn't experience hyperandrogenicity, but if you are using bicalutamide as monotherapy, you should be using a dose of around 100mg/day ideally.

Are you using bicalutamide with estrogen? Or are you just going to continue using it with dutasteride and oral minoxidil?

Thank you so much this was very helpful. I’m not going to take estrogen right off the bat. I’m willing to do it if it comes to that but it’s my absolute last resort.

Yeah, realistically it's not necessary when using bicalutamide.

How long have you been on spironolactone?

Hello my friend

i just received today two batch of binarex (bicalutamide) from inhousepharmacy.vu
Apparently the manufacturer is in india so i am a bit scared even if it come from new zealand.
Do you think it is legit ?, i have a hard time finding a test lab. What do you think can i use it on my scalp nevertheless.
Can you check the form of the pill with yours.
Mine are white with a 50 on it
the diameter is about 8mm

And by the way do you have an easy check list to test purity at home ?
like the weight of the pill, it what solvent i can check the solubility stuff like that

Thanks for your feedback.

I got this reply from a labs to get tested my bicalutamide.

"Dear,
Here is our proposal :
1) H-NMR for general structural confirmation
340 Euro, but only structural confirmation (no elucidaton of the structure when it turns out to be something else)
2) Mass spectrometry for molecular mass confirmation
510 Euro
3) NMR purity testing for approximation of purity (optional)
340 Euro"

It seem to me very expensive, is it the correct price ?? is there any labs cheaper or maybe cheaper test to try to be sure it is my coumpound
thanks for your help
