Starting dutasteride today

Goodluck man. .5mg of dutasteride is about 3x as potent as finasteride in inhibiting type 2 dht. And then you get the type 1 inhibition which helps some guys with sebum control. Did you mess around with dosing on finasteride? Also did you notice anything when you realized finasteride was not working anymore?
I posted in the research section that I can help people get dutasteride tested and all at 10grams for 220$. I'm going to up my dosage when mine comes because dutasteride is somewhat dose dependent.
Goodluck with it either way dude. You never know what could happen. dutasteride may be your saving grace. Try and stay patient with it. Seems like you are already because you have so much time invested in other treatments.

I thing everybody take .5mg duta ED or EOD.Thanks ziggy your post gives me motivation. Here how I plan on taking it: .05 every Saturday & Tuesdays. Gonna take finasteride m w f still for two-three weeks then switch to m f then just m then completely go off it and just stay on the dutasteride. Will that be good enough or should I up the dosage you think? Thanks
Dont Go an Overnight Switch..introduce dutasteride to your system gradually, it would work better. Start with dutasteride one a week then next week 2wice and so on. Decrease the finasteride in a similar way. The day u take dutasteride skip the finasteride. so at the end of 7 weeks ull be on dutasteride and no finasteride. and your body will have a better adoption to dutasteride.
I agree with madgeboy. I went on 1 pill a week, then 2 the next, then 3, etc.. I take it everyday now. I still get some hairline itches here and there and yes I'm shedding, but hopefully the hairs grow back normal and not miniaturized. I need to stabilize so I can have dr Rahal perform a god damn miracle on my hairline. Just stay the course, I didn't notice much the first month, but during this month (2nd) my scalp feels better
